They're always incompetent and they always end up being killed by the carload whenever a new villain shows up in town. You have to figure, how many officer deaths would their half to be before there was a new set of rules put in place when dealing with supervillains. Who would be a cop in a universe where any day you might have to go up against Magneto or someone? I’m kinda tired of cops being just nameless victims in superhero comics.
